Lubrication
Remove right housing, disconnect task light connector and then remove hammer case. Apply grease evenly and sparingly on the anvil, impact
mechanism assembly, and the gears. An excessive accumulation of grease will result in sluggish operation. See drawing 48380273 and table below.
Maintenance frequency is shown in a circular arrow and defined as h=hours, d=days, and m=months of actual use.

Task Light
CAUTION
• Task Light is not user serviceable. Repair should only be carried out by an Ingersoll Rand Authorized Service Center. User service may
result in electric shock, fire and or serious personal Injury.
• Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.
• The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
Adjust Flashlight Mode
Refer to Figure 2 on page 2.
1. To set task light, position directional switch to Neutral.
2. Press the trigger to turn the light ON or OFF.
3. Position the directional switch to Forward or Reverse to save desired setting and begin tool use.
NOTICE
While in neutral, tool will remain in task light mode for 10 minutes.
Parts and Maintenance
Tool repair and maintenance should only be carried out by an Authorized Service Center.
Refer all communications to the nearest Ingersoll Rand Office or Distributor.
