The 1390L is designed for installation in vehicles with 12-volt, negative ground electrical
systems. Make sure your vehicle has this system before connecting any leads.
@ Antenna Connector
Connect this to your car antenna using the supplied antenna connector.
@) Ground Lead (Black)
Securely connect this lead to a good chassis ground on the vehicle. Make sure the
connection is made to a clean, bare metal chassis spot using a screw.
3) Power Antenna Lead (Blue)
Connect the power antenna control lead to the connector of full automatic power
antenna. Power antenna control does not work with semi-automatic or manually
operated antenna. This lead provides a +12V output when the tuner is on.
@ CD Controller (5953) DIN Connector
Connect this connector to the DIN connector marked "TO CONTROLLER" on the
1390L.
DIN Extension Cable (Supplied with 5952)
Connect this cable to the DIN connector marked "TO CD CHANGER AUDIO CONTROL
UNIT" on the 1390L.
