2.3 Sealing
Once the LRF-04 has been correctly installed, it must be sealed. The LRF-04 is provided
with the following seals to prevent tampering with the programme or configuration
(connections and cables):
Sensor seal: Once the sensor lid has been screwed in place, it may be sealed through
•
the hole on the side. One of the possible ways to seal the sensor is to thread a wire
through the hole and join the ends with a lead seal, as shown in the drawing below.
Signal input and output and sensor connector seal: These connectors are sealed by
•
fixing the back cover of the LRF-04 with the four screws provided. These screws have a
hole in the head. The four crews are placed at the four corners of the cover and are
sealed by threading a wire through the two crews on one side and joining the ends
together with a lead seal. The same procedure is then repeated for the screws on the
other side.
NOTE: For the correct working of the limiter, it is imperative to fix the back cover.
Programming button cover seal: The programming button cover is sealed by means of
•
the screws provided. As in the previous cases, a metal wire is threaded through the
holes in the screws and its ends joined by a lead seal. The button must be sealed after
the LRF-04 has been correctly programmed.
NOTE: For the correct working of the limiter, it is imperative to fix the back cover.
