Operation
Breaking in the pump
Check and tighten all bolts and ttings.
□
Open the air ow by turning the air pressure regulator (C)
□
fully clockwise.
□ Place the pressure switch (G) in the OFF position and plug
in the power cord.
Open the drain valve (K).
□
Place the pressure switch (G) in the ON position and run
□
the air compressor for 10 minutes.
Place the pressure switch (G) in the OFF position.
□
Close the drain valve (K).
□
Starting up
Close the air tank drain valve (K) by turning clockwise.
□
□ Plug in the power cord (H).
Set the pressure switch (G) to the ON position and allow
□
tank pressure to build. The motor will stop when tank pressure
reaches "cut-out" pressure.
□ Turn the air pressure regulator (C) clockwise until
desired pressure is reached.
The compressor is ready for use.
□
Shutting down
Set the pressure switch (G) to the OFF position.
□
□ Unplug the power cord (H).
Reduce the pressure in the tank through the outlet hose. Pulling the safety valve
□
(I) and keeping it open will also reduce the pressure in the tank.
Tip the compressor so the tank drain valve (K) is at the bottom of the tank, then open the tank
□
drain valve (K) counterclockwise to allow moisture to drain from the tank.
