8. Connect the short and long
ends of the transmission rods
by nesting the two ends into
each other. Secure the two
ends together by turning the
pre-installed Allen head screw
located in the longer end of the
transmission rod clockwise
using Allen wrench.
(See Figure 11)
9. Insert long end of the transmission rod into
remaining lifting column. (See Figure 12)
NOTE: To insert rod into remaining column, the
rod may need to be expanded. To expand,
loosen the gray nut built onto the rod using
supplied wrench. Expand until the remaining
end is fully inserted into the lifting column as
depicted in below images. Re-tighten nut.

NOTE: Rod may need to be slightly rotated to fit
into holes in lifting column.

10. Place transmission rod cover over transmission rod
and attach to pre-threaded holes on inside of lifting
columns using two M6 x 10 mm socket cap
screws (D) per side. (See Figure 13)
NOTE: Open part of transmission cover should
be facing the bottom of the tabletop.
NOTE: Transmission cover is expandable. To
expand, remove the Phillips head screw on
the cover and expand the cover until it aligns
with the holes in the lifting columns. Re-secure
Phillips head screw.
