OPERATION
z When clearing deeper drifts, hold the electric snow shovel
by the upper and lower handles and use a swinging or
sweeping motion. Remove up to 6 in. (15 cm) of snow
with each pass and repeat as many times as needed.
z Keep the cord clear of obstructions, sharp objects and
the rotating paddles. Do not pull sharply on the cord or
abuse it in any manner. Frequently inspect the cord for
signs of damage. If damage is found, replace the cord
immediately.

light to faciliate clearing at night and under conditions of

GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of
commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use
clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.

will automatically power on and illuminate the path in
front of you. When you stop the machine, the LED light
will automatically power off.
z Disconnect the extension cord after using the electric
snow shovel. Hang the extension cord with the shovel
so it will not be misplaced or damaged.
z When finished, allow the motor to run for an additional
few minutes, then turn the chute rotation lever back and
forth several times to remove any remaining snow from
the chute.

LUBRICATION
All of the bearings in this product are lubricated with a suf-
ficient amount of high grade lubricant for the life of the unit
under normal operating conditions. Therefore, no further
bearing lubrication is required.
STORING THE SNOW SHOVEL
