TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
Snow shovel won't
start
The motor is on but the
auger does not turn.
A layer of snow
remains on the ground
after passing over it.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Snow shovel is not plugged in.
The trigger lockout button was not
depressed.
The drive belt may be worn or broken.
The auger or scraper may be worn.
CORRECTION
Connect snow shovel to 120V power supply.
Be sure the snow shovel plug is properly
connected to the extension cord.
Press and hold the trigger lockout button
before squeezing the switch trigger.
Replace the drive belt.
Have the auger or scraper replaced by an
authorized service center.
