• Do not block the air vents and ensure proper ventilation.
• Keep your DREI from heat, dust, and moisture..
• Make sure the impedance of your loudspeaker(s) matches the output im-
pedance of your DREI. Do not connect equipment with inappropriate output
levels (e.g. power amps).
• Always check if the required mains voltage is available. If in doubt,
ask the house technician. No DIY repairs, please! Internal fuses should
always be replaced by qualified personnel.
9) TROUBLE SHOOTING
NO SIGNAL, AND THE POWER INDICATOR DOES NOT LIGHT:
• no mains power – check if the power cord is connected.
• the mains fuse is blown – replace with the same type and rating. Con-
sult your authorized PALMER dealer if the fuse keeps blowing.
• the mains voltage does not match the voltage required by the amp.
NO SIGNAL, BUT THE POWER INDICATOR LIGHTS UP, AND ALL CONNECTIONS ARE
CORRECTLY MADE:
• the amp is switched to STANDBY.
• All three tube volumes are down
• the anode fuse is blown - replace with the same type and rating. Con-
sult your authorized PALMER dealer if the fuse keeps blowing.
• the heater fuse is blown (the tubes do not glow) - Consult your autho-
rized PALMER dealer
THE AMP PRODUCES RINGING NOISES AND SQUEALS:
• one or several tubes are microphonic – consult a qualified technician
to have your tubes checked and replaced with the same type and ratings,
if necessary.
