Cooling
Activate the cooling function by touching the cooling symbol.
„
Ensure that there is sufficient water in the water tank.
„
As soon as the cooling function is activated, the appliance pumps water through the filter. This humidifies and cools
„
the escaping air.
While the cooling function is activated, the cooling symbol is illuminated and „cool" appears below the
„
temperature display.
Press again to deactivate the function.
„
Note: If a beep sounds when the cooling function is activated and the word „Cool" lights up continuously in the
„
display, there is not enough water in the water tank.
Oscillation
Activate an oscillating back and forth movement of the device by touching the oscillation symbol.
„
Press again to deactivate the function.
„
Negative ions
Touch the symbol to activate the function.
„
Ambient light
Switch the light on or off by touching the symbol.
„
TIP!
THE APPLIANCE CAN BE USED AS A FAN OR FOR COOLING.
Remote control
You will find the same symbols shown on the remote control that you see on the display.
„
Point the remote control at the display and select the desired functions.
„
The display and selection options are exactly the same as for operation via the display.
„
When not in use, the remote control can be stowed away in the space-saving recess on the back of the display.
„
Cool packs
For even more cooling, you can place the frozen cool packs in the water tank.
„
1. Fill the cool packs with water up to the mark.
2. Place the filled cool packs in the freezer for at least 3 hours.
3. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before placing the cool packs in the water tank.
4. Place a maximum of 2 cool packs in the water tank at the same time.
5. Recommended arrangement: one cool pack to the right of the motor and one across the front.
Instructions for optimal use
Protect the rooms from strong sunlight with roller blinds or curtains.
Do not block the air inlet/outlet grilles.
Make sure that no heating elements are active in the room.
Do not use the appliance in damp rooms (e.g. in the laundry room).
Do not use the appliance outdoors.
Always place the appliance on a level, stable surface.
