Rectifying malfunctions
Error
Unable to activate the
pressing tool out of idle
state and no LEDs are lit.
Green LED flashes.
Red LED flashes.
Red LED lights up.
The pressing tool stops
and no LED lights up.
Red and green LEDs flash
alternately.

Cause
Rechargeable battery
is defective.
The rechargeable
battery has not been
inserted properly.
Pressing tool is
defective.
Rechargeable battery
not charged up suffi-
ciently.
Retaining pin has not
been inserted correctly.
Retaining pin has
come loose.
Pressing tool is
outside of the
operating
temperature.
Incorrect or defective
rechargeable battery
inserted.
Tool failure.
Rechargeable battery
is defective.
Maintenance interval
has been reached.
Action
▶ Replace the rechargeable battery
with a Geberit lithium-ion battery of
type Milwaukee 18 V.
▶ Have the defective rechargeable battery
tested by an authorised repair shop.
▶ Insert rechargeable battery.
▶ Have the pressing tool inspected by
an authorised repair shop.
▶ Charge the rechargeable battery or
replace it with a Geberit lithium-ion
battery of type Milwaukee 18 V.
▶ Insert the retaining pin.
▶ Insert the retaining pin.
▶ Check the pressing operation and
repeat if necessary.
▶ Bring the pressing tool into a warmer
environment or leave it to cool down.
▶ Bring the pressing tool to the required
operating temperature by performing
multiple blank pressing operations
(pressing operations without a fitting).
▶ Replace the rechargeable battery
with a Geberit lithium-ion battery of
type Milwaukee 18 V.
▶ Press the start button. If pressing the start
button is not successful, the pressing tool
is defective. Have the pressing tool
inspected by an authorised repair shop.
▶ Check the pressing operation and
repeat if necessary.
▶ Release start button.
▶ Press and hold release button: roller
drive moves to its starting position.
▶ Check the pressfitting for tightness and
repeat the pressing operation if necessary.
▶ Replace the rechargeable battery
with a Geberit lithium-ion battery of
type Milwaukee 18 V.
▶ Have the defective rechargeable battery
tested by an authorised repair shop.
▶ Have the pressing tool inspected by
an authorised repair shop.
