Impact drilling mode
• For impact drilling in concrete, position the knob of selector (2) as shown below.
Neutral mode
• The neutral position is only used to set the flat chisel to the required working position. Position the knob of selector (2) as
shown below.
Impact mode
• For chiselling and carving applications, position the knob of selector (2) as shown below. In this mode, the tool can also be
used as a lever, to remove stuck drill bits.
SDS-Plus drill bit insertion
To insert a drill bit, take the following steps:
• Clean the drill bit before inserting it, and slightly grease the end that must be fit into the chuck.
• Insert the drill bit into the chuck and slide it into position with a rotary movement. Check that the drill bit has been inserted
correctly.
SDS-Plus drill bit replacement
• Pull the chuck back; hold it in position and remove the drill bit.
