The instrument must be included in the equipotential bonding / grounding of the
application via the process connection. The sealing, e.g. for NPT threaded connection,
must be conductive to avoid potential differences caused by isolated connection.
4.2 Batteries
For hazardous areas, only use approved AA-sized batteries with a maximum voltage
supply of DC 4.95 V.

4.2.2 Battery replacement

Through working in flammable atmospheres, there is a risk of explosion
which can cause death.

The instrument must not be opened in hazardous areas.
▶
Do not use any rechargeable batteries.
▶
Only replace the batteries outside the hazardous area.
▶
Only use the listed batteries.
▶
Always replace all three batteries together.
