Before use
Installation on a wall
WARNING!
■
Before wall mounting, make sure that there is
no damage to any cables in the vicinity of the
drill holes required for the mounting.
■
Route the mains cable so that it does not
obstruct you and no one can pull on it acci-
dentally.
■
Do not allow children to play with the appli-
ance, even when it is mounted on the wall.
■
Never operate the charger on a combustible
surface.
■
Never place the charger on a damp surface.
■
Mounting the charger behind doors or within
their swinging range is not recommended, as
there is a risk of it being torn off or otherwise
damaged.
The charger has two holes on the back for wall
installation. You can hang it on a wall, taking the
safety instructions into account. To do this, use two
screws (not supplied) with the specified dimensions
and spacing (see fig. on the fold-out page).

Charging the battery pack (see fig. A)
CAUTION!

Always pull out the power plug before you
remove the battery pack from or connect the
battery pack to the charger.
NOTE
►
Never charge the battery pack if the ambient
temperature is below 10°C or above 40°C.
If a lithium-ion battery is to be stored for an
extended period, the charge level should be
checked regularly. The optimum charge level is
between 50% and 80%. The storage climate
should be cool and dry and the ambient tem-
perature should be between 0°C and 50°C.
