on the other side. In any case, it has to be considered that the internal or lower surfaces of this beam in flammable material must not come in
contact with temperatures higher than 65 °C.
WARNINg: We cannot be made liable for a wrong operation of the plant, when it does not comply with the provisions of
these instructions or when it uses additional products not suitable for this device.
DEsCRIPTION
Definition in according to EN 13229 : the appliance works as an intermittent operating appliance.
The device is made up of metal sheet plates in painted steel, castings of cast iron and refractory materials.
The hearth is coated by cast iron castings and refractory material plates, the grate holder and the related extractible grating are both made of
cast iron. The combustion chamber assembly is air-tight by welding and covered with a galvanized sheet metal carter.
The devices 800 are equipped with a hearth with double thickness rear part made up of a drilled extractible plate.
Through these holes, pre-heated air gets into the hearth; in this way, it is possible to achieve a post-combustion with an increase of the yield
and a reduction of emissions of unburnt gases.
The sight door is assembled on extensible ball guides, which assure a robust and silent operation reliable in time.
The door lifting counter-weight is supported by two sturdy chains with related pinions.
The ceramic glass (resistant up to 700 °C) of the door allows a charming view on burning flames and avoids any leak of sparks and smoke.
ACCEssORIEs
MONOBLOCCO 800
The heating of the room occurs:
a)
by convection: the passage of air through the coating and the covering hood releases heat in the room.
b)
by radiation: through the sight glass and the steel body, heat is radiated into the room.
The device is equipped with registers of primary and secondary air, with which it is possible to adjust the combustion air.
1A - PRIMARY air register
(Picture
With the air register located under the door of the hearth, it is possible to adjust the air flow through the ash drawer and the grating in
direction of the fuel. The primary air is necessary for the combustion process.
• For the 800 model, the bar must be completely pulled out .
The ash drawer has to be emptied regularly, so that ash cannot hinder the intake of primary air for the combustion. Primary air is also
necessary to keep fire live.
During the combustion of wood, the primary air register must be opened only a few, since otherwise the wood burns quickly and the
device can overheat (see chapter NORMAL OPERATION).
2A - sECONDARY air register
Secondary air, passing in the façade's two side struts, heats up and triggers double combustion while also cleaning the glass door (turn
the regulator fully to the right). If you move the lever to the centre, the appliance (800 model) operates at a reduced rate: primary air is
closed and the flow of secondary air is halved (see chapter NORMAL OPERATION).
The adjustment of the registers necessary to reach the rated calorific yield is the following one:

FLUE
Essential requirements for a correct operation of the device:
• the internal section must be preferably circular;
• be thermally insulated and water-proof and produced with materials suitable to resist to heat, combustion products and
possible condensates;
• not be throttled and show a vertical arrangement with deviations not greater than 45°;
• if already used, it must be clean;
• all the sections of the flue gas duct must be accessible to inspection;
• inspection openings must be provided for cleaning.
• observe the technical data of the instructions manual;
Should the flues have a square or rectangular section, internal edges must be rounded with a radius not lower than 20 mm. For the rectangular
section, the maximum ratio between the sides must be = 1.5.
A too small section causes a decrease of the draught. It is suggested a minimum height of 4 m.
The following features are FORBIDDEN and therefore they endanger the good operation of the device: asbestos cement, galvanized steel,
rough and porous internal surfaces. In
For a correct installation please respect the sections/lengths of the flue shown in the technical data table. By installations
with different dimensions the flue must be suitably sized in accordance with EN13384-1.
