11. SERIAL OUTPUT
The serial output of the balance uses the EIA RS232 standard
Balance and computer/ peripheral settings must be the same.

11.2. DATA TRANSMISSION FORMAT
The format of the data transmitted by the balance is different as a function of the selected protocol by the
menu option 9.2.1.3.
EURO and CRYSTAL protocols are suitable for computer interfacing, the PRINTER protocol may be used to
drive external printers.
The answer to any type of command is formatted with a measure field, a unit field and a status flag field as
follows:
