PORTABLE BAND SAW SAFETY WARNINGS
 Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces, when
performing an operation where the cutting acces-
sory may contact hidden wiring. Cutting accessories
contacting a "live" wire may make exposed metal parts
of the power tool "live" and could give the operator an
electric shock.
 DANGER: Keep hands away from cutting area and the
blade. Keep your second hand on handle. If both hands
are holding the saw, they cannot be cut by the blade.
 Use clamps or another practical way to secure and

the workpiece by hand or against your body leaves it
unstable and may lead to loss of control.
 Know your power tool. Read operator's manual care-
fully. Learn its applications and limitations, as well as
the specific potential hazards related to this power
tool. Following this rule will reduce the risk of electric

to comply with ANSI Z87.1 when assembling parts,
operating the tool, or performing maintenance. Fol-
lowing this rule will reduce the risk of serious personal
injury.
