Do's and Don'ts Guide
WHEN ATTACHING TO A TRAILER DO:
• Camera antennas should be parallel to
the ground surface.
• Camera antennas should be positioned
2 to 3 inches above the trailer's highest
obstruction.
• For camper trailers, consider positioning
the camera with minimal, large metallic
obstructions like roof mounted A/C units.
Secure the tether to a sturdy location.
Use the provided Rivet nut hardware
when mounting the camera to a thin metal
trailer wall.
Ensure the provided USB cover is attached
and tightened anytime the camera is
subject to water intrusion.
Wireless Camera System
WHEN ATTACHING TO A TRAILER DON'T:
Do not mount your camera in a location
that will interfere with any functional
feature of your trailer. (i.e., lights, drop
ramps, windows, etc.)
Do not pull a trailer with the camera
mounted without the tether cable secured.
Do not mount the camera system on a
fiberglass only surface.
Do not mount the camera where it may
become submerged in water beyond
1.5m (5ft) for 30 minutes.
