LIFTIG welding 2T, 4T and SPOT mode
* 2T - When the trigger of the torch is pressed, the gas starts to flow until the welder makes the ignition by
LIFTIG (see Fig.9) and the arc is established. The current rises according to the UPSLOPE time for the
adjusted value of I2. When the trigger of the torch is released, the current decreases according to the set
value of DOWNSLOPE, the arc extinguishes, and the POST GAS time starts.
** 4T - When the torch trigger is pressed, the gas begins to flow until the welder makes the ignition by
LIFTIG (see Fig.11) and the arc is established. You can release the trigger. The current rises according to
the UPSLOPE time for the adjusted value of I2. When the trigger of the torch is pressed, the current
decreases according to the adjusted time of DOWNSLOPE, the arc extinguishes, and the POST GAS time
begins.
Timed TIG spot welding mode - When selected indicates that the machine is in TIG spot welding mode.
Set the spot time by pressing the right knob (9 - Fig.5) until the SPOT TIME LED lights up in the weld cycle and
turn the same knob for the desired time. Start spot welding by pressing the torch trigger and continue pressing
until the end of the set TIG welding program.

LIFTIG ignition (by contact) should be used when the high frequency radiations could disturb the functioning
of electronic devices near the welding zone (computers, pace-makers, medical tools, etc).
