Gaming Console Set Up

Connect the 3.5mm audio cable that comes with the HF8 to your Controller Headphone

Connect your Headphones/Headset to the 3.5mm input on the HF8

Make sure a blinking Green, Yellow or Red LED is showing on the HF8 hand controller

this indicates that the HF8 is in Gaming Console Mode / Sound Capture Mode. (To

change the mode of the HF8, hold down the red button on the remote for 5 seconds).

Check your console audio settings to make sure the audio is being outputted to your

controller.

Optional Gaming Console Set Up - (If you don't have a headset)

Depending on your Gaming Console if you are not using a Headset plugging the HF8 into the

controller can stop sound from being out putted through the TV. You will need purchase a HDMI

2.0 or HDMI 2.1 audio extractor and HDMI cable (not included with the HF8).

Connect the HDMI cable from your Gaming Console to the input of the audio extractor

Connect the additional HDMI cable to the output of the audio extractor and then to the

TV/Monitor

Connect the 3.5mm audio cable (comes with HF8) to the output of the HDMI audio

extractor

Make sure a blinking Green, Yellow or Red LED is showing on the HF8 hand controller this

indicates that the HF8 is in Gaming Console Mode / Sound Capture Mode. (To change the

mode of the HF8, hold down the red button on the remote for 5 seconds).

PC Mode Set Up

NOTE: To fully control the HF8 from your PC, download the Next Level Racing HFS software from

the below:

When the Next Level Racing HF8 has a solid LED on the hand control, it is ready in PC mode. As

you adjust the Intensity knob the solid LED will change Green being the lowest intensity and Red

being the highest intensity.

Connect the USB connector to the computer's USB port.

The HF8 requires software to connect to the games and use telemetry data to give the

best experience possible, we have provided free software called Next Level Racing HFS

which is available for download in the link below.

HF8 Mode Change

To change the feedback mode, hold down the red button on the remote for 5 seconds.

Result: The feedback mode changes to PC or Sound Capture.

NOTE: The LED indication will change to white when the button red NLR button is held and the LED

will flash the intensity colour when in Sound Capture mode.
