Before Starting Operation
¢ Your new Monitor TVA-M013P is designed
to operate with the PAL and 3.58 NTSC
standard systems (for the switch setting,
see the Installation Guide). This Monitor will
not operate with the SECAM standard
system. So make sure your system is the
PAL or 3.58 NTSC system.
¢ Make sure the TVA-M013P is correctly
connected to the Alpine head unit, display
processor, AV Interface unit, etc. through
the Ai-NET function.
Opening the Monitor
Display
Press and release the OPEN button on the
Monitor's front panel after turning the power
on to your system (with the POWER indicator
on the TVA-M013P illuminated). The unit
produces a beep sound once.
Then the ACTION indicator blinks 3 times
with 3 beeps. After this, the Monitor display
automatically opens to the preset viewing
position.
Notes:
¢ For safety purposes, the Monitor display
opens only when the OPEN button on the
Monitor is pressed.
e If there is an obstacle during the opening
process, the Monitor display stops opening
and retracts the Display automatically.
Adjusting/Presetting the
Viewing Position (Angle)
You can select 3 viewing positions for the
Monitor display (90, 97 and 104-degree
positions) for better visibility.
Press the up (A) or down (V) button to select
your desired viewing position upward or
downward respectively.
The TVA-MO013P will automatically preset the
selected viewing position in memory. The
Monitor display will automatically position
itself at the preset position when the Monitor
display is opened.
