CONSUMER INFORMATION SHEET ON COVER MATERIALS FOR PLAYGROUNDS
Choose a protective surface:
One of the most important things that can reduce the likelihood of a serious head injury is the
use of a shock-absorbing surface underneath and around your equipment. The protective surface
should be of sufficient depth in relation to the height of the equipment in accordance with the
requirements of CE EN71. There are different types of surfaces; Whichever product you choose,
follow these guidelines:
ATTENTION:Do not install play equipment on concrete, asphalt or any other hard surface. Falling
onto solid surfaces may result in serious personal injury. The grass is not considered a protective
substrate as wear and environmental factors can reduce its cushioning properties. Carpet
coverings and thin mats are not suitable protective surfaces.
