FILLING WITH COFFEE
• Remove the filter holder, turning it clockwise.
• With the help of the measuring spoon, place coffee
powder compatible with espresso machines in the filter.
1 spoon for 1 cup, 2 spoons for 2 cups. (6-7 g per cup to
be prepared).
• Next, lightly press down the ground coffee with the back
of the spoon.
• Replace the filter holder in the appliance by turning it
anti-clockwise.
• NOTE: Verify the filter holder is properly fitted before
making coffee.
USE
• Connect the appliance to the mains.
• Press the On/Off button. The ring light on the buttons
will start blinking, indicating that the coffee machine is
preheating.
• Once they stop blinking, the coffee machine will have
heated up and will be ready to brew your preferred coffee.
MAKING ONE COFFEE
• Follow the steps in the 'Filling with Coffee' section above,
according to one cup of powdered coffee filling.
• Once the filter holder is in its place, press the 1-cup
button.
• The coffee machine will stop automatically once the
coffee is brewed.
MAKING TWO COFFEES
• Follow the steps in the 'Filling with Coffee' section above,
according to two cups of powdered coffee filling.
• Once the filter holder is in its place, press the 2-cups
button.
• The coffee machine will stop automatically once both
coffees are brewed.
HOT WATER
• Once the coffee machine has heated up, place a cup
under the steam pipe.
• Open the steam knob turning it anticlockwise. Hot water
will start coming out.
• To end, close the water system by turning the knob in
reverse.
MILK FROTHING
• Once the coffee machine has heated up, press the steam
button. It will start blinking.
• Once the button stops blinking, the machine will be ready
to make dry steam.

• Place a cup with milk under the steam pipe and introduce
the steam pipe until the outlet is nearly at the bottom of
the cup.
• Open the steam knob turning it anticlockwise. The noise
of the steam coming out will be heard.
• Adjust the temperature by touching the cup, and when the
milk is at the desired temperature, close the steam knob.
• NOTE: After steaming, press the steam button. After that
place a cup under the steam pipe and follow the steps
on the hot water section of this manual. Releasing some
water will lower the temperature and relieve the pressure.
SETTING UP THE COFFEE QUANTITY
• You can set the duration for the two electronic functions of
this coffee maker (make one coffee or two coffees).
• To do this, prepare the machine according to the function
you wish to set up.
• Press the button of the function you wish to set up for 3
seconds.
• You will see that the other buttons stop illuminating.
• Remember to place a cup under the filter holder.
• Press the button again to start the setting.
• When you reach the desired duration, press again to
record the amount.
STAND-BY FUNCTION
• In order to save energy, the appliance passes to stand-by
after 25 minutes if the user does not use it.
• When the appliance enters the stand-by function, the On/
Off button will keep blinking slowly.
• If you want to restart the machine, you can press any of
the three buttons.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE APPLIANCE
• Turn the appliance off using the On/Off button. Unplug the
appliance from the mains.
• Let the appliance cool down.
• Clean the appliance.
SAFETY THERMAL PROTECTOR
• The appliance has a safety device which protects the
appliance from overheating.
• If the appliance switches itself on and off repeatedly,
check to ensure that there are no obstacles that impede
correct air entry or expulsion.
• If the appliance turns itself off and does not switch itself
on again, disconnect it from the mains supply and wait
for approximately 15 minutes before reconnecting. If the
machine does not start again, seek authorised technical
assistance.
