ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read these safety instructions before use and
keep them in a safe place.
! - This symbol indicates the risk of injury or damage
to the device.
-Use only the corresponding battery and charging
station, using a different model of battery or charging
station could cause damage, battery explosion, fire or
serious injury.
-The battery must be removed before any
maintenance or cleaning.
- Do not disassemble the battery lamp.
-Do not place the battery-powered lamp or
accumulator near an open flame or heat source. This
will reduce the risk of explosion and possible injury.
-Check if any parts are damaged before use. Do not
use a damaged battery lamp.
-Repairs may only be carried out by experts with
appropriate technical qualifications using original
spare parts, failure to follow this instruction may
cause considerable danger to the user.
- Do not point the flashlight at yourself or other
people, it may cause illumination or damage to your
eyesight.
- Do not use the lamp in water, do not cover it and do
not leave it switched on without supervision.
- Do not use the lamp in an environment where there
is a risk of explosion.
- Do not let children use the lamp without supervision.
- Do not use the battery-powered lamp for a purpose
other than its intended use, do not modify it for a
different purpose of use.
Safety instructions for battery and charger.
CHARGER
1. No metal objects must enter the battery insertion
hole (danger of short circuit).
2. Never use the charger in a damp or wet
environment. Suitable for indoor use.
3. Make sure that the mains voltage agrees with the
data on the nameplate of the charger. Disconnect the
cable connection by pulling out the plug. Pulling on
the cable could damage the cable and the plug and
make it impossible to restore electrical safety.
4. Do not use the charger if the cable, plug or tool
itself is damaged. In case of damage, have it repaired
at a specialized service.
5. Avoid limiting the cooling function by covering the
cooling slots. Do not use the tool near heat sources or
on flammable surfaces.
6. Never open the charger. In the event of a
malfunction, contact a specialist workshop.
7. Before inserting the battery into the charger, make
sure that its internal surfaces are clean and dry.
BATTERY
1. Never try to charge a damaged battery.
2. After charging, immediately remove the battery
from the charger.
3. A non-rechargeable accumulator must not be
charged.
4. Improper use of the battery can lead to
overheating, explosion or spontaneous combustion
and cause serious injury.
5. When using rechargeable batteries, pay attention
to the correct polarity.
6. Do not short-circuit the positive and negative
contacts (e.g. with a wire).
7. During transport or storage, the accumulator
must be suitably packed and protected against short
circuits between the contacts.
8. Do not puncture, break or protect the battery from
other mechanical damage.
9. Direct soldering on the battery is prohibited.
10. Protect the battery from water and moisture.
11. Do not break the battery or change anything on
it. The accumulator is equipped with various safety
devices. If one of these safety devices is damaged,
overheating may occur,
explosion or self-ignition of the accumulator.
12. Do not place the battery near an open fire, oven
or other heat sources. Protect the battery from direct
sunlight and do not leave or use it in the car in good
weather.
13. When the battery is not in use, it should be
charged to about 30-50% and stored at room
temperature. During long storage, the accumulator
must be charged once a year to prevent complete
discharge.
14. Do not charge the battery at room temperature.
Otherwise, the battery may be seriously damaged
or its service life may be reduced. Do not charge the
battery near acids and easily flammable materials.
15. The battery and charger heat up during the
charging process. This is normal and not considered
an error.
16. If the accumulator is not charged during the
specified charging time, the charging process must
not be continued. Otherwise, the battery may heat up,
explode or catch fire by itself.
17. Insulate worn accumulator batteries by covering
the contacts with adhesive tape or similar.
18. When disposing of the battery, do not incinerate it
or throw it in the normal waste. Take used batteries to
your local collection yard or recycling company.
19. If an unusual smell, overheating, changes
in color or shape or other abnormalities occur
during charging/discharging, stop using the battery
immediately.
20. If the liquid from the battery gets into the eye due
to a leak, do not rub it, but rinse it with plenty of water
and seek medical help immediately. If not treated,
liquid from the battery can damage the eye.
21. In case of unprofessional use and the use of
damaged accumulators, vapors may escape. Provide
fresh air and seek medical attention in case of
problems. Vapors can irritate the respiratory tract.
22. The battery must be charged before first use.
Only after several charge and discharge cycles does
the battery reach full capacity.
23. Charge the battery only in chargers designated by
the manufacturer for this purpose. Using a different
charger may cause errors or fire.
