Steam cleaning with handpiece and accessories
1.
Ensure the surface to be cleaned is suitable for hot steam cleaning. If in doubt, consult the manufacturer of the surface
material.
2.
Attach the connector to the handpiece. The protrusion on the connector tab must snap into the opening on the
handpiece.
3.
Select the appropriate steam attachment, fit it and lock it in place by turning it.
4.
Check that the connector and steam attachment are firmly in place.
5.
Plug the appliance into the power outlet.
6.
Switch on the appliance (I). The LED will flash red. The appliance is now warming up.
7.
When the LED turns to a steady red, the appliance outputs steam.
8.
Keep the power cord clear of the steam output.
9.
Clean the surface.
Right after each use
∙ After use, switch off (O) the appliance and unplug it from the mains.
∙ Allow the appliance to cool down for at least 5 minutes!
After mopping/freshening up carpets:
∙ Press the handpiece release button and disconnect the handpiece from the steam mop.
∙ If necessary, remove the carpet glider from the steam mop.

Washing the cleaning cloth
1.
Remove the cleaning cloth when it has cooled down.
2.
Wash the cleaning cloth at a maximum temperature of 60 °C. Avoid using fabric softeners. Do not bleach. Do not tumble
dry.
TIP: If used regularly, we recommend replacing the cleaning cloth after 4-6 months (see "Spare parts and accessories").
Cleaning the appliance and attachments
∙ Before cleaning, switch off the appliance and disconnect the plug from the outlet.
∙ Allow the appliance to cool down for at least 5 minutes!
∙ For electrical safety considerations, never clean or immerse the handpiece or the power cord in liquids.
∙ Use a slightly damp cloth to wipe the handpiece and then rub it dry.
∙ Wipe the steam mop with a damp cloth if necessary.
∙ Wipe the attachments with a damp cloth or rinse them under running water if necessary.
∙ For cleaning, do not use any sharp or scouring cleansers or hard brushes.
∙ After use, wind up the power cord on the cable holder.
TIP: Before winding up the power cord, turn the upper cable holder upwards. For easy unwinding of the power cord, turn
the upper cable holder downwards.
∙ You can store the appliance upright in a cupboard or a sheltered corner. Never leave the appliance with the handpiece
in a free-standing position in a room or similar place to prevent it from falling over. Failure to do so can cause injury or
damage to the appliance.
