defrosting
The refrigerator works based on the air-cooling principle and thus
has an automatic defrosting function. Frost formed due to change
of season or temperature may also be manually removed by discon-
necting the appliance from power supply or by wiping with a dry
towel.

• In case of a power failure, even during summer, foods inside the
appliance can be kept for several hours. Door openings should be
kept to a minimum, and no more warm food should be loaded
into the appliance.
• For long periods of no operation, the appliance should be un-
plugged and cleaned; leave the doors open to prevent odors.
• Before moving the refrigerator, remove all items from the interior,
fix the glass shelves, vegetable drawers, freezer compartment
drawers etc. using tape, and tighten the leveling legs; close the
doors and secure them in position with tape. During moving, the
appliance should not be laid upside down or horizontally, or be vi-
brated; the inclination during movement shall be no more than
45°.
• The appliance shall run continuously once it is started. The opera-
tion of the appliance should not be interrupted; otherwise the ser-
vice life of the refrigerator may be impaired.
