ITEMS REQUIRED

• User made workboard 1075 mm x 600mm x
minimum 20mm thick

ASSEMBLY
Assemble router carriage & ski assembly as
shown. – (Fig. 2)
Do not overtighten the router top plate
fixing screws, as the router carriage needs
to slide along the router carriage bar.
EN - RS/JIG
• Workboard size. – (Fig. 3a)
• Battens size. – (Fig. 3b)
• Secure battens to the board. – (Fig. 3c)
• Secure rear rail to batten using two rail fixing
screws. – (Fig. 4a)
• Place front rail on batten. – (Fig. 4b)
• Place rear router carriage ski bar into rear rail
groove and front router carriage ski bar into
front rail groove. – (Fig.4c)
• Secure front rail with one screw in left hand
hole. – (Fig. 4d)
• Move router carriage & ski assembly to right
hand side. – (Fig.4e)
• Secure right hand rail with one rail fixing screw
– (Fig.4f)
• Butt the second set of back and front rails up
against to the existing rails. – (Fig.5a)
• Place router carriage ski bar halfway into the
front and rear rail grooves. – (Fig. 5b)
• Secure second front and rear rails with one
screw in left hand hole. – (Fig. 5c)
• Move router carriage & ski assembly to right
hand side. – (Fig. 6a)
• Secure second front and rear rails with one
screw in right hand hole. – (Fig. 6b)
• Check rails are straight with a long straight
edge and adjust as necessary.
• Secure all rails with the remaining screws.
• Fit a 30mm guide bush to router.
• Fit suitable router cutter to router.
The rail to rail centre tightness and
parallel can be adjusted by loosening rail
fixing screws accordingly and tightening
when correct.
OPERATION
• Secure component in middle of base board.

• Place router with guide bush into hole in router
carriage. Ensure it does not foul component.
– (Fig. 8)
• Move router carriage & ski assembly to left
hand side of jig and towards the rear.
