ranty period. The replacement of any part of your Ford Con-
nected Charge Station under the limited warranty will not
extend the period of the limited warranty. Any replaced de-
fective parts will become the property of Ford. Ford, at its
discretion, may repair or replace your Ford Connected
Charge Station. Repair parts and/or replacement product
may be either new or reconditioned at the discretion of
Ford.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Ford shall not be liable for costs, damages, malfunction, or
repairs incurred as a result of, due to, or from abnormal op-
erating conditions (including exposure to acid, chemical
fumes, metallic dust, or extreme temperatures), accident,
abuse, damage, disaster, misuse, unauthorized alteration,
or repair, improper connection with peripherals, electrical
fault or utility surge, installation by anyone other than a li-
censed electrician, or if the Ford Connected Charge Station
was not operated or maintained in compliance with the
Ford printed operating instructions, including the Ford Con-
nected Charge Station User Guide.
WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
This limited warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty
provided by Ford with respect to the Ford Connected
Charge Station and is in lieu of and excludes all other war-
ranties, express or implied, arising by operation of law or
otherwise, including without limitation, merchantability or
fitness for a particular purpose, and whether or not Ford's
products are specifically designed and/or manufactured for
your use or purpose and all other express and implied war-
ranties for the Ford Connected Charge Station, including
the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particu-
lar purpose, are hereby disclaimed, where permitted by law.
In no event, will Ford or any of its authorized dealers be li-
able to you or any third party for any damages in excess of
the purchase price of the Ford Connected Charge Sta-
tion.This limitation applies to damages of any kind includ-
ing any direct or indirect damages, lost profits, lost savings,
or other special, incidental, exemplary or consequential
damages whether for breach of contract, tort or otherwise,

or whether arising out of the ability or inability to use the
Ford Connected Charge Station. Some States or Provinces
do not allow the exclusion or limitation of damages, so the
above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This
limited warranty does not apply when the Ford Connected
Charge Station is not installed by a licensed electrician. Any
evidence of an attempt to disassemble or reverse engineer
the Ford Connected Charge Station will void the limited
warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and
you may also have other rights which vary by jurisdiction.
This limited warranty is not transferable, except where pro-
hibited by applicable law.
WARRANTY SERVICE
Please contact the Ford Customer Relationship Center. You
may be asked to return your Ford Connected Charge Sta-
tion to your Ford dealer for assessment or replacement.
UNINSTALL/REINSTALL REIMBURSEMENT
In addition to and as part of an authorized warranty repair
or replacement, reimbursement of up to $75 to uninstall
the Ford Connected Charge Station, and up to $75 to re-in-
stall it (both in local currency) will be provided so long as
the removal and reinstallation is performed by an electri-
cian licensed in your jurisdiction. In order to obtain this re-
imbursement, you must obtain an invoice from your li-
censed electrician and provide the invoice to your Ford
dealer at their request.
