2.) Cutting depth limiter (Fig. 3)
If you do not wish to cut through the work piece, you can limit the cutting
depth by setting the two clamping screws (A). Find out the ideal setting
by taking test cuts on a spare piece.
3.) Lengthwise stop (Fig. 4)
The lengthwise stop (10) consists of two individual bars with a clamping
piece (D) and a stop plate (B). This serves as a stop for work pieces the
same length. You can vary the length by loosening the wing nuts (C)
and sliding the setting bars, and read the length off the scale on the saw
table.
The lengthwise stop can be set on both ends of the front of the saw
table and screwed into the holes intended.
4.) Material holder (Fig. 5)
The material holder (3) serves to fasten the work piece on the saw table
in place. The fastening width can be set within 132 mm maximum by
loosening the wing nut (E) and sliding the clamping piece. After that,
clamp the work piece into place by turning the fastening knob (F)
clockwise.
The material holder can be bolted in on the left or right of the angle
scale on the saw table.
Usage
• All work pieces must be fastened properly. Remove any nails, screws
or other objects that might damage the saw blade.
• Only use saw blades that are in perfect condition. Replace blunt,
warped or cracked saw blades immediately. Blunted saw teeth make
work unnecessarily heavy-going and cause jagged cuts. Apart from
that, blunt saw teeth might cause the saw blade to slip off and cause
injury.
• Always keep an eye on the cutting guide markings while sawing. Saw
through the complete length of movement.
• Keep your hands away from the cutting area of the saw blade.
