Boston Acoustics HSi H460T2 and
VSi H470T2 are high-humidity
speakers for single location stereo
in-ceiling installations. They are ideal
for bathrooms, saunas or other high-
humidity locations. They are
designed for outstanding durability
as well as outstanding sonic
performance. Rubber surrounds,
coated steel or aluminum hardware,
aluminum grilles, specially coated
crossover networks and speaker
cones made of polypropylene or
other protected materials help in
protecting these speakers from the
elements.
Both models can be set for one or
two-channel inputs, allOWing the
speaker to function as a single
stereo speaker or to operate as a or
as both a side and rear channel for a
single locations.
VSiH470T2
The VSi H470n can be configured
for diffuse or direct operation. If the
surround speaker is located directly
above the listening area, the
installer can configure the speaker
for diffuse operation. In this
application, the T2 island rotates,
allOWing the "null" to be directed at
the listener. Turning the nisland
can be done after the speaker is
installed.

VSiH470T2
Cuando se usan en aplicaciones
de cine casero, tanto el como e
VSi H470T2 se pueden configurar
para que funcionen en modo difuso
o directo. Si el altavoz ambiental
esta situado directamente por enci-
rna de la zona de audici6n, el instal-
ador puede configura rio para que
funcione en modo difuso. En esta
aplicaci6n, la isla T2 gira,

mite dirigir e'"nulo" al oyente. EI giro

despues de instalarse el altavoz.
Tanto el HSi H460n como el
VSi H470T2 se pueden configurar

Utilisees en applications de theatre,
les VSi H470n peuvent etre config-
ures pour un fonctionnement direct
ou de diffusion. Si I'enceinte Surround
est situee directement au-dessus du
site d'ecoute, 11nstallateur peut con-
figurer I'enceinte pour un fonction-
nement de diffusion. Dans cette
application,l'ilotT2 tourne, ce qui
permet de diriger Ie

VSi H470T2
Bei Cinemaanwendungen konnen
der VSi H470n im direkten oder dif-
fusen Modus konfiguriert werden.
Wenn
sich
der
Surround-
Lautsprecher
direkt
uber
dem
Horbereich
befindet,
kann
der
Installateur den Lautsprecher fUr den
diffusen Betrieb konfigurieren. Bei
dieser Applikation rotiert die T2-
Insel, so dass die "Null-Achse" zum
Horer gerichtet werden kann. Die n-
Insel kann gedreht werden, nach-
dem der Lautsprecher installiert wor-
den ist.
Sowohl der HSi H460T2 als auch
der VSi H470T2 konnen mit 1- oder
2-Kanal-Eingang verwendet werden,
damit der Lautsprecher als einzelner
Surround-Kanal funktioniert, oder sie
konnen zur Abstrahlung zur Seite
oder nach hinten von einem einzel-
nen Deckeninstallationspunkt aus
eingesetzt werden.
