Tool attachment

When inserting the tool, hold the tool lock [7] in
the forward position.

Rotate the tool and insert until it engages.
The tool is locked.

Attention!

Pull on the tool to check that it is correctly
seated. (It must be possible for the tool to move
a few centimetres in the axial direction.)
Tool removal
▸
Pull the tool lock [7] backwards in the direction of
the arrow (a) and remove the tool (b).
Adjusting the operating mode
and chisel position
Attention!
Do not move the lever on the machine when the
chisel is clamped.
BMH 40 BASIC:

Only press button [9] when the motor is sta-
tionary.

position.

Insert the chisel.

Push the sleeve [8] forwards and turn the chisel
until it is located in the desired position.

Push the sleeve [8] backwards / release.

Turn the chisel until it latches in place.
Switching on/off
Non-continuous operation

Press trigger switch [12] to switch the machine on.
▸
Release trigger switch [12] to switch off.
Continuous operation (only in chisel
mode
):

Press and hold button [10] for continuous oper-
ation.

To switch off, press button [10] again.
