EMPTYING THE DUST DRUM (Fig. 8)
WARNING:

To reduce the risk of injury from accidental
starting, unplug power cord before emptying the
drum.
1. Unplug Power Cord from power source.
2. The Vac comes equipped with a Drain for easy
emptying of liquids.

Cap (C).
3. Remove the Powerhead Assembly (A) by pulling
outward at the top of the Two Latches.
4. Lift Powerhead Assembly (A) from the Dust
Drum (B) and set aside.
5. Use the Dust Drum Handles located at the bottom of
the Dust Drum to lift and empty into a proper waste
disposal container.
NOTE: Do not carry the Vac by the Powerhead Carry
Handle when the Vac is full.
WARNING:

To reduce the risk of back injury or falls, do not lift
a Vac heavy with liquid or debris. Scoop or drain
enough contents out to make the Vac light enough
to lift comfortably.

Position the Vac near a
MOVING THE WET/DRY VAC (Fig. 8)
NOTE: Do not pick up the Vac by lifting on the Latch
Handles located on the side of the Dust Drum (B).
Should it become necessary to pick the Vac up to move
the Wet/Dry Vac, pick up an EMPTY Dust Drum by the
Dust Drum ONLY.
NOTE: DO NOT pick the Vac up by the Carry Handle
unless the Dust Drum is EMPTY. To avoid dropping the
Vac, due to latches releasing or possible part breakage,
pick the Vac up by the Dust Drum.
To maneuver the Vac, the Carry Handle (D) on top of the
Powerhead Assembly (A)should be used.
