6.6 Trimming the hairline
Precision trimmer attachment
• Use the precision trimmer attachment 5
to shorten and shape moustaches,
whiskers, sideburns or eyebrows.
• Put the edge of the attachment at the de-
sired hairline height and move the hair
and beard trimmer 6 downwards.

1. Figure A: remove the attachment from
the hair and beard trimmer 6 by press-
ing it with the thumb towards the rear.
2. Remove the hair remnants from the at-
tachment using the cleaning brush 19
included in the delivery.
3. Apply a few drops of blade oil 18 to the
cutting edge of the attachment. Using a
soft cloth, wipe off the surplus oil, if nec-
essary. Only use acid-free oil, such as
e.g. sewing machine oil.
