Together with this instruction for use MA152: Patient Guide the patient must receive the

WHAT IS IT AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR?
The BTI APNiA unit measures and saves the oxygen saturation, air flow in respiration, heart
rate, position of the body, respiratory rate, thoracic movement and snoring by means of
different sensors. Thus, with the information stored and with the help of the diagnosis
software provided with the unit, it is possible to detect events such as: obstructive, central
and mixed apnoea, hypopnoea, desaturations, artifacts or snoring, and draw up a detailed
report. The aim is to obtain a prior diagnosis of the patient's clinical situation, which must
then be confirmed by a specialist.
It is indicated for use by medical staff skilled in the diagnosis of respiratory disorders in
sleep, in hospitals or clinics. At the same time, the electronic BTI APNIA unit is also indicated
for domestic use by the patient.
HOW IT IS USED?
It is a portable device that can be used by the patient himself, on himself, in the home dur-
ing the hours of sleep by following these steps:
