Rough grinding
WARNING
Never use cutting wheels for roughing!
• Move the angle grinder back and forth across
the workpiece with moderate pressure.
• With soft materials, guide the roughing disc at a
flat angle across the workpiece, with hard mate-
rials use a somewhat steep angle.
Cut-off grinding
WARNING
Never use roughing wheels for cutting!
• Only use approved fibre-reinforced cutting or
grinding discs that are approved for a circumferen-
tial speed of no less than 80 m/s.
CAUTION
The grinding tool continues to run after it has been
switched off. Do not try to slow it down by pushing
against it laterally.
• Secure the workpiece. Use clamping devices/
bench vice to hold the workpiece in place. In this
manner, it is held more securely than with your
hand.
• Always switch the product off before placing it
down and wait until the product has come to a
standstill.
• Only use the product for dry cutting or dry
grinding.
• The additional handle must be mounted to the
product for all work.
• Do not machine material containing asbestos.
Asbestos is considered carcinogenic.
This is the right way to behave:
DANGER
Always guide the product through the
workpiece in the counter direction!
In the opposing direction, there is a risk of kick-back.
The product can be pushed out of the cut.
• Always guide the product against the workpiece
when switched on. After machining, lift the product
from the workpiece and only then switch it off.
• Always hold the product tight with both hands
during work. Make sure that you have a secure
footing.
• For the best grinding effect, move the product even-
ly back and forth on the workpiece at an angle of
15° to 30° (between the grinding disc and the work-
piece).
• When machining inclined surfaces, the product
must not be pushed onto the workpiece with
great force. If the speed drops significantly, the
contact pressure must be reduced to make safe, ef-
fective working possible. If the product is suddenly
completely braked or blocked, the product must be
switched off immediately.
• Cutting: Work with moderate feed and do not tilt
the cutting wheel.
• Roughing and cutting wheels become very hot
during work - allow them to fully cool before
touching them.
• Never misuse the product.
• Always make sure that the product is switched
off before inserting the battery into the product.
• If the event of danger, switch off the product im-
mediately and remove the battery. Ensure that
the product is easy to access and can be reached
without any problems in an emergency.
• During a pause in work, before performing any
work on the product and when not in use, re-
move the battery. The product must always be
clean, dry and free of oil or lubricating grease.
• Remain attentive at all times! Always pay atten-
tion to what you are doing and always use com-
mon sense. Never use the product if you are un-
able to concentrate or feel unwell.

ried out by a specialist workshop. Use only
original spare parts.
There is a risk of accident! Always perform
maintenance and cleaning work with the
battery removed. There is a danger of inju-
ry! Let the Product cool down before all
