Stop the working tools if you have to tilt the product for transportation. Stop working tools
when crossing surfaces other than grass and transporting the product to and from
surfaces to be worked.
▪
Never use the product if safety devices are damaged or missing, for example without the
safety flap and/or catcher.
▪
Always pull the mains plug out of the socket:
−
when leaving the product unattended.
−
before freeing a blocked tool.
−
after hitting a foreign body.
−
when the product vibrates abnormally.

ASSEMBLY
WARNING! Wear protective gloves for this assembly work and always lay the
product on a flat and stable surface while assembling.
WARNING! Follow the assembly instructions step-by-step and use the
pictures provided as a visual guide to easily assemble the product!
7.1
Handle bar assembly

Connect the lower handle bars (7) with the adjusting gears (see Fig. 1).
▪
Make sure the lower handle bars (7) and adjusting gears are connected firmly. Align them
with the bolt of the machine. (see Fig. 1 + 2).
▪
Install the handle height adjustment lever (19) and the ring on each side of the lower
handle in turn (see Fig. 2 + 3).
▪
Secure the connection of the middle handle assembly to the lower handle using 2 knobs
and 2 bolts and tighten them on each side. Secure the connection of the upper handle and
the middle handle in the same way (see Fig. 4).
▪
Secure the cord to the machine by using a cable relief (4) (see Fig. 5).
7.2
Grass catcher assembly
WARNING! Do not attempt to use the product without the grass catcher
attached. Danger of flying objects!
WARNING! The product must be switched off and the cutting device must
have stopped rotating before you attach or empty the grass catcher!
WARNING! Never use the scarifier without the grass catcher bag securely
fitted.
NOTE: A full grass catcher will reduce the performance of this product.

Take the grass box and metal bracket out of the packing.
▪
Put the metal bracket into the grass box, keep the handle outside.
▪
Fix the plastic jacket in the metal bracket.
▪
Attach the grass catcher (3) to the product before operation.
▪
Open the deflector guard (9), hold it in position and align the hooks on the grass catcher
(3) with the hinges to hang it onto (see Fig. 6).
▪
Empty the grass catcher (3) frequently during use. Do not wait until it is completely full. We
recommend emptying it when it is half full.
