Tapping the Beer Keg

Follow the stepsbelow to tap the kegof been
1_Make surethe black pull handle of the keg coupler
is in the closed (up} position before installing it on
the beer keg. Insertthe keg coupler into the locking
neckof the beer keg and turn clock,vise 1/4-turn to
lock it into position. (seefig. 1)
2. Attach the open end of the red air line hoseto the
hosebarb connectionon the keg couplen Next,
securethe hose by using the remaining self-locking
plasticsnap-on damp to ensurethat thereare no
leaks.Securethe clamp tightly with pliers.

3_ It is very important that the black rubber washer be
installed insidethe wing nut before connectingthe
beer line to the keg couplen Removethe black
rubber protectivecap located on top of the keg
coupler and screwthe wing nutwith the rubber
washer onto the keg couplen Hand-tightenfirmly.

4_Make surethe beer tower faucetis in the closed
(faucethandle pointing straight back! position before
connectingthe keg coupler and the beer keg. To

securethe tank connection, puJJ the keg coupler ,4"/ _
handle out and push down until it locksinto position.
Listenfor the "dick" of the pull handle when it shifts
into the find downward position.(seefig. 4}
