6. Use the "▲" or "▼" buttons to set the
measured temperature.
7. Long press "▲" and "▼" on the left at the
same time to save.
NOTE: The QU196 is recommended for measuring
the soldering tip temperature.
2.8. Heating element
2.8.1 Changing the Heating Element of the Soldering Iron
Caution: Repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel or an
authorised workshop! All work must be carried out without tension and with
components cooled to room temperature!
1. (4) Unscrew with (3), (2) and (1).
2. Slide out the heating element(5) with earthing spring(6) and circuit
board(7).
3. Desolder all 4 wires of the heating element (5) and remove the heating
element.
4. Push the new heating element (5) through the spring(6) and solder all
the wires
5. Slide heating element (5) into the handle with earthing spring(6) and
circuit board(7)
6. (4) Screw on with (3), (2) and (1)
7. After the change, carry out the
following check:
8. Calibrate the soldering tip
temperature.
