cutterheads. Always use push blocks and safety
glasses to reduce the likelihood of injury from
"kickback." If you do not understand what
kickback is, or how it occurs, Do Not operate
this machine.
14. BE AWARE THAT CERTAIN WOODS MAY
CAUSE AN ALLERGIC REACTION in people and
animals, especially when exposed to fine dust.
Make sure you know what type of wood dust
you will be exposed to and always wear an ap-
proved respirator.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: For additional references to the parts
listed below, refer to the Assembly and Wiring
Diagrams of this manual.
NOTE: During the following steps, loosely fin-
ger tighten all Carriage Screws (16A) and Nuts
(19A).
1. Locate the Front Plate (15A) and the Rear
Plate (34A). Also, locate the two Side Link
Plates (24A) (See figures 1 & 2).

2. Insert eight Carriage Screws (16A) from the
outside of the eight lower holes in the Front
Plate (15A), Rear Plate (34A), and through the
two side holes located at each end of the Side
Link Plates (24A).
3. Use eight Washers (18A) and eight Nuts
(19A) to secure the Front Plate (15A), Rear
Plate (34A), and the Side Link Plates (24A).

4. Locate the Crossbeam Plate (17A). Connect
the Crossbeam Plate to the underside of the
two Side Link Plates (24A) by inserting four
Carriage Screws (16A) from the two top holes
of each Side Link Plate downward through the
two holes at each end of the Crossbeam Plate.
5. Secure the Crossbeam Plate (17A) to the
two Side Link Plates (24A), using four Washers
(18A) and four Nuts (19A).
6. Make sure the Front Plate (15A) and the Rear
Plate (34A) are setting level on the floor. Then,
wrench tighten all Carriage Screws (16A) and
Nuts (19A).
7. Locate the Upright Plate (4A) and the Upper
Link Plate (2A).
8. The Jointer Stand features a Dust Chute. To
assemble the Dust Chute, locate the Tapping
Plate (26A), the Right Fender (25A), the Left
Fender (29A), and the Left Protective Plate
(28A) (See Figure 3).
