PicoConnect 900 Series Probes
WARNING
Signals exceeding the voltage limits in the table below are defined as "hazardous
live" by EN 61010. To prevent electric shock, take all necessary safety precautions
when working on equipment where hazardous live voltages may be present.
±60 V DC
WARNING
To prevent a safety hazard or equipment damage, do not probe circuitry,
interconnect or systems where an interruption of function, temporary or
permanent, could lead to hazard or harm. When probing data lines, consider in
particular the possible impact of temporary or prolonged data corruption. Probe
only under offline conditions.
CAUTION
To prevent measurement error or damage to the probe or connected equipment,
do not attempt to measure voltages outside the specified maximum voltages
marked on the product and in the table below. Also ensure that the test node is
capable of driving the additional load impedance of the probe without damage
to the device under test. For AC-coupled probes, this may include the charging
of the coupling capacitor (6.8 nF) to a DC bias condition through the probe input
impedance. See the Getting Started section.
