Granules Measurement
1 Granules Measurement Kit
The color2view accessory "Granules Measurement Kit" is used to manually measure the
color of plastic pellets.
Calibration Parts
1 Plate Key
2 Aperture Plate
3 Glass Sample Plate
Calibration
1. Select Configuration > Measurement Parameter > Aperture > 32 mm.
2. Use Plate Key (1) to remove installed aperture plate.
3. Place Aperture Plate for Granulate Measurement (2) on instrument and snap it in.
4. Insert Glass Sample Plate (3) into Aperture Plate for Granulate (2) and place White Cal-
ibration Standard on top.
5. Select Configuration > Calibration > Calibrate with glass on white standard.
6. Instrument starts calibration, follow instructions on display.
Measurement
1. Set no. of readings in Configuration > Measurement Parameter > Statistics.
2. Fill Glass Sample Cup (4) with plastic pellets.
3. Place the Glass Sample Cup on the Aperture Plate for Glass Cuvette.
4. Place the Sample Cup Cover (5) over the Glass Sample Cup.
5. Tap on Measure or press the Operate button to perform a reading.
6. Between the readings empty the Glass Sample Cup and fill it again.
To switch back to standard measurement mode, exchange aperture plate and perform
white calibration (without glass plate).
