2 Automatic Sample Rotator
The color2view accessory "Automatic Sample Rotator" is used to automatically measure
the color of plastic pellets.
Calibration parts
1 Plate Key
2 Aperture Plate
3 Glass Sample Plate
Calibration
1. Select Configuration > Measurement Parameter > Aperture > 32 mm.
2. Use Plate Key (1) to remove installed aperture plate.
3. Place Aperture Plate for Granulate Measurement (2) on instrument and snap it in.
4. Insert Glass Sample Plate (3) into Aperture Plate for Granulate (2) and place White Cal-
ibration Standard on top.
5. Select Configuration > Calibration > Calibrate with glass on white standard.
6. Instrument starts calibration, follow instructions on display.
Measurement
1. Set no. of readings in Configuration > Measurement Parameter > Statistics.
2. Remove the Aperture Plate for Glass Cuvette.
3. Place the Automatic Sample Rotator (4) on the instrument (no snap in required).
4. Fill sample cup (5) with plastic pellets; insert in the rotator and close the cover.
5. Tap on Measure or press the Operate button to perform start measuring.
6. Rotator will turn internal Sample Cup automatically and stop after last reading.
To switch back to standard measurement mode, exchange aperture plate and perform
white calibration (without glass plate).
