5. Check the belt run.
6. Adjusting the belt run, refer to section Adjusting Belt
Run.
Adjusting Belt Run
Using the screw (2), adjust the sanding belt (while the
machine is not in operation and the battery pack is
removed) so that it runs in the centre of the sanding belt
roller.
Sanding Procedure
1. Switch the machine on first before mounting it on the
workpiece.
2. Place the machine on the material such that the
sanding belt is parallel to the surface of the workpiece.
3. Keep the machine in constant motion because
otherwise recesses could be produced in the material.
Replacing the Sanding Attachment
1. Removing the sanding belt, refer to section Sanding
Belt Replacement.
2. Remove screw (2), and remove sanding attachment.
3. Attach the other sanding attachment, ensure that the
nose at the end of the sanding attachment is pointing in
the direction of the tensioning arm.

4. Secure with screw (2).
5. Attaching the sanding belt, refer to section Sanding
Belt Replacement.
6. Adjusting the belt run, refer to section Adjusting Belt
Run.
Tips and Tricks
1. Do not press the device too firmly against the surface
being sanded. This does not improve, but rather
impairs, the sanding performance.
2. For optimum operation: Sand on the side on which the
sanding belt moves towards the machine. Refer to
section Adjusting Belt Run.
Overloading
If the tool is overloaded for any reason that causes
excessive heating of the tool or battery, the internal
electronics will cause the tool to stop working. This is a
safety feature that will help to prevent overheating of the
tool or battery.
— Battery over temperature – indicated by all four
LED lights flashing on the battery. This means the
internal temperature of the battery is too high,
and it will stop operation to prolong battery life.
The lights will continue to flash for four (4)
minutes after each trigger pull until the
temperature lowers to an acceptable level
— Tool over temperature – indicated by the
illumination LED flashing. When the tool is used
under heavy load continuously, the internal
temperature of the electronics may be reached,
and the tool will temporarily stop working. Allow
the tool to air cool to resume operation.
