Important safety information
Read before using the power tool and act
accordingly:
these operating instructions,

the "General safety instructions" on

the handling of power tools in the enclosed
booklet (leaflet no.: 315.915),
the currently valid site rules and the regula

tions for the prevention of accidents.
This power tool is state of the art and has
been constructed in accordance with the
acknowledged safety regulations. Never
theless, when in use, the power tool may
pose a danger to life and limb of the user or
a third party, or the power tool or other items
could be damaged. The power tool may be
operated only

for its intended use,

in perfect working order.

Faults which compromise safety must be
repaired immediately.
Intended use
The SHE 16 18-EC cordless shear is
designed
– for commercial use in industry and trade,
-
– for cutting through and trimming flat
workpieces made of steel, aluminium and
plastic that can be cut.
Safety information on cutting
Read all safety notices and instructions.
Failure to comply with the safety notices and
instructions may result in electric shock, fire
and/or serious injuries. Keep all safety
notices and instructions in a safe place for
future reference.
Make sure that the machine is switched
off when inserting the battery pack.
Remove chips and the like only when the
machine is at a standstill.
Secure the workpiece against
displacement or rotation (e.g. by
fastening with clamps).
Always wear protective goggles, work
gloves and sturdy shoes when working
with your machine.
Do not put your hands in the cutting area.
