Filter bag
When to replace
Check filter bag from time to time.
Your cleaner will not operate effec-
tively if the filter bag is too full.
NOTE: All new carpet has loose
fiberswhich can fill the bag
quickly while vacuuming.
If you are usingthe cleaneron
new carpet, be sure to changethe
filter bag often.
CAUTION: Very fine materials,
such asface powder or corn-
starch,may seal the filter bag and
causeit to burst even though it is
only partially full of dirt. When
cleaner is usedto remove material
of this nature, changefilter bag
often.

What to buy
To assure cleaning effectiveness, use
only Genuine HOOVER® HEPA
Filtration Type W2 (patent pending)
disposable filter bags, part No.
401080W2. Genuine HOOVER®
Allergen Filtration Type W2 disposable
filter bags, part No. 401010W2 may
also be used.
It is imperative that you use only gen-
uine HOOVER@ filter bags distributed
by Hoover to assure that your cleaner
operates at peal< performance.

(A) and pull door forward.

OThe bag door is designed
with a "break-away" fea-
ture which allows it to snap free if
it is pulled to the side.
To reattach, align hinges d door
with slots on bottom of bag stor-
age area, on the headlight lens.
Push door down to secure in
place.
O emove filter bag by
grasping bag collar (B) and
pulling collar from tray (C).
The bag collar is designed that, as it is removed,
the bag opening will be closed off to prevent dirt
from leaving the bag.
Discard used bag.
