in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it s� ll dose not fi t, contact a qualifi ed electricians.
• Do not use appliance for other than the intended use.
• Do not a� empt to dislodge the food when the appliance is plugged in
• A fi re may occur if the appliance is covered or touching fl ammable material, including
curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in opera� on.
• Do not pour oil or grease in the plate for deepfry food because it can cause fi re dam-
ages.
• A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resul� ng from becoming en-
tangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer extension cords are available and may
be used if care is exercised in their use. If a long extension cord is used:
1) The marked electrical ra� ng of the cord or extension cord should be at least a
great as the electrical ra� ng of the appliance.
2) If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a ground-
ing 3-wire cord.
3) The longer cord should be arranged so that it does not drape over the countertop
or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over uninten� onally.

2. HOW TO USE
Before using for the fi rst � me
• Clean the baking plates with a damp cloth or sponge.
• Slightly grease the baking plates with a li� le bu� er or cooking oil.
• Plug in the sandwich maker and heat up the plates un� l the green pilot light goes off .
• The sandwich maker is ready for use
Note: When using this sandwich maker for the fi rst � me, a fi ne smoke haze may result.
This is normal because of the ini� al hea� ng of the internal components.
Making toasted sandwiches
• Put the mains plug into the wall socket. The red Power On pilot light and
• green pilot light will light up
• When the green pilot light goes off , the sandwich maker is ready for use.
• Prepare the ingredients for your toasted sandwich. For each sandwich you need two
slices of bread and a suitable fi lling.
