7. Always operate battery charger in an open well ventilated area.
8. NEVER smoke or allow a spark or flame in the vicinity of the battery or
engine. Batteries generate explosive gases!
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Connecting the charger to the battery.
The charger's output leads have color-coded battery clamps (RED-POSITIVE
and BLACK- NEGATIVE). Connect these directly to the corresponding
connectors on the battery posts.
2. Connect the charger to AC power socket. The light will turn "YELLOW", and
then charging begins.
3. When the battery is full, the light will turn "GREEN".
Stop charging at any time by disconnecting the AC cable from the wall
socket.
The light will be off in any cases of "loose clamps", "reverse connection" or "short
circuit".
CHARGING BATTERIES IN VEHICLE
1. Position AC and DC cords to reduce risk of damage by hood, door, or
moving engine part.
2. Stay clear of fan blades, belts, pulleys, and other parts that can cause
injury to persons.
