• Lift the presser foot (13) and turn the hand wheel (5) to lift the needle out of the fabric.
• Remove the fabric by pulling it gently toward you and use your thumb to press the last stich and prevent it from
unravelling.
• Cut the thread.
• Lock the stiches by following the instructions.
CHANGING THE NEEDLE:
1. Turn the hand wheel (5) clockwise to raise the needle to it's highest position.
2. Loosen the needle clamp screw (22) by turning it counter-clockwise.
3. Remove the needle, pulling down, away from the needle clamp (18).
4. Place the new needle with the flat side facing in against the needle clamp (18).
5. Push it gently as far up as it will go, and against the needle clamp.
6. Tighten the needle clamp screw (22) while holding the needle in place.
WINDING THE BOBBIN :
1. Always remove the bobbin (15) from the bobbin case on the machine before you wind a new bobbin.
2. Place the thread spool (2) on the thread spindle (1).
3. Put the bobbin pin into the hole on the hand wheel and turn it slightly counter-clockwise.
4. Take an empty bobbin. Pull the thread down from the thread spool (2) and thread the loose end through the
small hole on the bobbin rim from the inside.
5. Leaving the loose end outside the bobbin, wind the thread several turns around inside the bobbin.
6. Place the bobbin in the bobbin pin, making certain that the thread is winding onto the bobbin in a counter-
clockwise direction.
7. When the bobbin is full, switch of the machine.
LIGHT:
If additional light is needed, press the light switch (7) to turn the light on. Press again to turn off.
THREAD CUTTER:
Use the thread cutter (21) to cut thread after sewing or winding thread.

The printed side of the fabric, the one that will be visible on the outside.
"Right sides together" means that the two printed sides of the fabric are against each other.
The side that will be on the inside of the work, invisible.
The bottom edge of a garment or accessory. It is made by sewing the fabric after having
folded it on itself towards the inside.
The spool of thread located under your sewing machine.
The action of ironing a seam on the wrong side so that the seam allowances on either
side of the seam are separated.
A model of the garment or accessory, printed piece by piece on paper.
