2 General Safety Instruc-
tions
When installing, starting-up and operating the
machine, always observe the following safety
instructions:
WARNING:
Possible eye injury!
▷ Do not hold reflecting materials into the laser

beam.
▷ Do not activate the laser if no impression is
positioned on the plate support.
CAUTION:
Danger of injury due to improper operation!
To avoid unintentional starting and possible
resulting injuries:
▷ Always switch off the pin drill at the main
switch before leaving the machine.
CAUTION:
A defective machine can lead to malfunctions!
On detection of damage or a functional defect of
the machine:
▷ Label the machine as defective.
▷ Prevent further operation until the machine
has been repaired.
NOTE:
▷ Switch the machine off when not in use or
unsupervised for longer periods, e.g., over-
night. This method of saving electrical
energy also benefits the environment.

sonnel.
