Carrying Out the Drilling
▷ Switch the main switch on at the machine front.
The green monitoring light is on.
▷ Press one of the triggers.
The laser is activated.
▷ Move the plate support to align/determine the
drilling position using the laser beam.
NOTE:
The laser beam must be within the area of the
Giroform plate. Laser beam (= drilling positions)
outside of the dental arch can lead to drill bit
breakage in the area of the plate support or the
retention disc.
The laser switches off approx. 2.5 min
after the last machine activity.
▷ Press both triggers at the same time.

Loading the Drilled Plinth Plate
▷ Place the Giroform plinth plate, with split noses
facing downwards, in your hand.
▷ Grasp pins by the retention head and insert con-
ical part into the drilled hole.
Fig. 14
Friction depends on the forces applied
when inserting the pin.
▷ Push pins in with your thumb. "Pricking"
"indicates" that both playless friction
and removable reposition of the pin are
ensured.
▷ Cover the central threaded hole with Giroform
putty to protect it from liquid plaster.
