INSTALLATION & USE
Oven method:
1) Place the pizza stone on a rack on medium
height. Preheat the oven and the pizza stone to
the maximum temperature (200-250 °C/ 392-
482 °F).
2) Make sure that the area of the pizza stone with
the raised edge is facing up and turned towards
the back of the oven.
3) Once the oven has reached the desired tempe-
rature, place the pizza on the pizza stone and fol-
low the recipe provided. Using a different recipe?
Then keep an eye on the pizza until it is cooked,
especially if the recipe used generally calls for a
different temperature. Make sure that the base is
in a stable position and light the tea lights.
4) Keep a close eye on the pizza until it is cooked.
Once the pizza is done, remove the pizza stone
from the oven using oven mitts and place the
pizza stone on a coaster or other heat-resistant
surface. Cut the pizza on a cutting board into the
desired number of pieces and return it to the pizza
stone.
5) Place the pizza stone on the base with the tea
lights. Be careful when removing the pizza from
the stone: the stone is still hot!
Barbecue grill method:
1) Start the barbecue grill and allow it reach a
temperature of at least 250 °C/482 °F. Preheat
the pizza stone by placing it on the barbecue grill
for 20 minutes. Avoid placing the coals directly
under the stone as much as possible. Instead, the
coals should be behind or next to the stone. This
allows for perfect heat distribution over the stone.
2) Make sure that the area of the pizza stone with
the raised edge is facing up and turned towards
the back of the barbecue grill.
3) Once the barbecue grill has reached the de-
sired temperature, place the pizza on the pizza
stone and follow the recipe provided. Using a dif-
ferent recipe? Then keep an eye on the pizza until
it is cooked, especially if the recipe used generally
calls for a different temperature. If there is a lid
for the barbecue, then close it to create additional
top heat. Make sure that the base is in a stable
position and light the tea lights.
4) Keep a close eye on the pizza until it is cooked.
Once the pizza is done, remove the pizza stone
from the barbecue grill using oven mitts and
place the pizza stone on a coaster or other he-
at-resistant surface. Cut the pizza on a cutting
board into the desired number of pieces and re-
turn it to the pizza stone.
5) Place the pizza stone on the base with the tea
lights. Be careful when removing the pizza from
the stone: the stone is still hot!
Preheated method:
1) Make sure that the base is in a stable position
and light the tea lights. Place the pizza stone on
the base.
2) The pizza stone is ready for use after a 10 mi-
nute preheating period. Once it is cooked, cut the
homemade or delivered pizza on a cutting board
while it is hot. Place the slices of pizza on the sto-
ne. Be careful when removing the pizza from the
stone: the stone is still hot!
Tips for the perfect, crispy pizza
(barbecue grill method):
1. Is the top of the pizza cooking faster than the
bottom? Then move a few of the coals directly
underneath the pizza stone.
2. Is the bottom of the pizza cooking faster than
the top? Then remove some of the coals from
directly under the pizza stone.
